Brothers
Jack, watching over the rings
It's a family affair
Wedding rehearsals ... sounds like practice and in a way, it is. The simple part ... the minister and the wedding planner tell you the "rules". This is the order of the wedding, this song, then you come up the isle, stand, light the candle, smile, say "I do" ... But where does the practice for the real "wedding", life together as husband and wife, come to play? Hmmm...that started years ago as they watched their mom and dad in the real world communicate and live together in perfect? harmony or work through their differences while respecting each other's personhood, dealing with disappointments with faith that God would work out to His good even though they couldn't see evidence of it immediately. The "practice" for life together comes through years of learning through experiences at school and work and church, of discovering that it takes all of the fruits of the spirit to live life to its fullest.
